~~Albert Irving Ness, age 91, of Teaneck, New Jersey, born in Coney Island, Brooklyn, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Devoted husband to his wife of 70 years, Sylvia, loving father of Eileen Lavine and Dr. Lawrence Ness, and adoring grandfather to Jeffrey, Adam, Chelsea, Taylor, and Morgan. Cherished great-grandfather of Layla, Scarlet, and Cooper. Al was deeply loved and admired by all. His humor, quick wit, and creative carpentry will be sorely missed.
