  1. George was a warm and gentle man who was part of the Holocaust Council’s efforts to teach, tell and remember. He will be greatly missed. May his memory be for a blessing!

  2. rest in peace my wonderful grandfather. he was the kindest, most loving, and strongest man. he survived the holocaust, two cancers, and many other ailments and was still the most positive and warm hearted person. he had a quiet and caring spirit and was loved by everyone he met. he was incredibly intelligent and loved to tinker. some memories that stick out are playing soccer together, even when his legs were weak and he built us a puppet show. one of my favorites was when he drew portraits of maya and i with our favorite stuffed animals. i remember the facetime calls where hed always be there in the background and the birthday calls where his voice boomed. he was the kindest man in the world. while i was going through cancer treatment he sent me an email with the motto life is beautiful, he was a survivor who loved life. he instilled that survival, love for adventure, and zest for life in me and i am forever grateful. i am so thankful that i was able to see him and hug him the week before his passing. may his memory be a blessing. papa i will love you forever and ever ♥️ 61529 – 4921 Gabby
