  1. I am sorry to learn that Jane is no longer with us. She was a good friend and a powerful union leader. We first met at a PEF convention, back in the 1980s.

  2. Dear Daniel and all of Jane’s Family, Jane and I worked together at the Public Employees Federation. She was a mentor to me when I started with PEF. She always took time to answer questions, give me advice and provided so much help to the new kid on the block. Jane gave of herself to others freely and with kindness and grace. Jane was fun loving and had a beautiful spirit. She fought fiercely for members rights, yet was respected by management for her work. Working and knowing Jane personally has been an honor for me. My heart goes out to her family.

  3. Jane was my colleague at PEF in NYC for many years. She was always kind and caring and hard-working. She was a great union activist, and was politically active as well. It was hard when she became ill while she was still working, but she tried to keep going as long as possible. Our condolences to her son and her family for their great loss.

  4. To Jane’s son and her entire family I worked with Jane at PEF and was her friend. I am so sorry for your loss; she was a most generous and vibrant person. She lived a vibrant life before she became ill, and I am holding you all in my heart.

  5. To all of Jane’s family, I worked with Jane at PEF for many years. Though she was in NYC and I was in the Latham office, she was quick to answer my call and help out. She had the most amazing laugh and her smile lit up her face. It always made everyone’s day a little brighter when she came into the office. May your memories of Jane make your days a little brighter too. Blessings, Geraldine
