Arbeiter, Jean, nee:Sonkin, age 80, resident of Leonia for 44 years, on Saturday April 8, 2017.
Born in the Bronx, she was an author of nine literary works and an editor at Medical Economics and other major book publishers in Manhattan. She was committed to social endeavors, and chaired both the board of Shelter Our Sisters and the Democratic Municipal Committee of Leonia. Beloved wife for 52 years to Solomon Arbeiter. Devoted mother of Daniel, Peter and Claire.
Dear mother-in-law of Jill and Neeta. Cherished grandmother of Philip, Jacob, Dev, Rebecca, Dilan.
Dearly missed by Kenneth Schwartz.
Chapel service Monday 12 noon at Eden Memorial Chapels 327 Main Street Fort Lee, NJ.
