Sent with love and remembrance,
Jonelle was a beautiful and talented person, who left a positive impact on the lives she touched. I am grateful for having known her.
Jonelle was a wonderful music teacher who poured her heart and soul into her classes and her students. She loved working with the kids and brought out the best in her students. She will be missed!
Q: What will you never forget about Jonelle?
A: She had such a wonderfully inviting spirit. Although we were not “real” sister-in-laws, as she was to Jay, Jonelle welcomed me into the family with kindness and open arms. Jonelle had the sweetest smile, she embraced her life as a gift and shared a warmness that only she could radiate. It’s been an honor to have known her and love her. xoxo Sue De Gregorio-Rosen
I will always remember Jonelle’s love of dancing, singing, and teaching the students who absolutely loved her. We had great times together including great meals and fun shopping. Certainly her sweetness, beautiful smile, devotion, and sincerity I will never forget. I will always and in all ways love Jonelle from the bottom of my heart. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I always admired Jonelle’s strength, how she enjoyed life to the fullest, loved to laugh, her kindness, and love for her students, and of course Melissa and Bruce, her daughter and son-in-law. She always spoke so highly about them and the good times she had when she went to visit them. I was very lucky having her as a close friend, and she was my role model. I will certainly miss her always and in all ways. There will always be a special place in my heart for her.
Hugs and Kisses,

Although my memories go back quite a few years, I will always remember my visits to Fairlawn to see My Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Joan was always the “girlie girl” well dressed, well groomed and very attractive.
As long as I am alive I will keep all of my memories alive
“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.”

Forever an angel with a heart and voice that I will always remember.
Jonelle and I were college roommates. After I left two years later ,we reconnected as married women with kids.
We always met at Saks 5th for lunch and shopping or Bloomies for lunch and shopping!!
She dazzled everyone one who met her and her smile was infectious.
I will miss you dear friend and will forever keep our times together in my heart.
Some of my fondest memories are with my aunt Jonelle. Whether it was singing and playing the bongos in her and Hal’s apartment in Ft Lee, an amazing Italian feast at their favorite restaurant, Angelo’s, or an impromptu adventure to Coney Island, she was always an aura of pure love and comfort when I needed her. Simply put, Jonelle was my bedrock who helped mold me into the man I am today.
She was a kind soul always willing to be there when you needed her and always with a smile and a song. Jonelle dedicated her life to teaching children the joy of music and love of life. I will never forget the countless productions she put on over her tenure and made each of her students feel like the star of the show.
Jonelle was the best among us and we are all better for having known her. I will love her always and miss that elegant smile and laugh. May she live on in all of our memories and the lives she has blessed.
Love you forever,
Jordan Rosen
Jonelle was so special to me and so many others. She was an inspiration to her music students and made music fun, exciting and inclusive to all the children.
She was a kind and special friend to me, always willing to listen and offer help. I will miss her friendship and light.
Jonelle was my very special cousin. She was my mom’s brother’s daughter. We had developed a closeness in recent years and bonded over family, love and our love for Yankees baseball. We spoke almost every night about the games wins and losses. We recently had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory at Riverside Square and had such a wonderful time. Great conversation and we drove the server nutty. I spilled a whole cup of coffee but he couldn’t have been nicer. I think Jonelle dazzled him with her beauty and her side ponytail. I told her I was smiling all the way home,. I will miss her forever along with beautiful smile. All our love, Cousin Joyce and Raul who loved her too.
To My Special Cousin, Jonelle,
She loved to Lunch
Or even Brunch
With her Coffee so Hot!
Rather than not.
Finishing her Meal
With Pie A La Mode
She always made “Music”
Where ever she strode!
Always the Lady
She called her Mom Sadie.
Stunningly dressed, to the Nines
Always ready to have a GOOD TIME;
Never met someone so unusually KIND!
A gifted Music Teacher her students adored
Being around her, one could never be bored!
A BEAUTY INSIDE AND OUT1
How much I will miss her!!
RIP,
Love, viv
Jonelle had a smile that lit up every room she entered.
Her warm personality, beautiful singing voice and superb teaching ability will be missed. Her school shows were amazing – a million times above what any other music teachers could do.
Rest in peace dear Jonelle and may your memory always be a blessing.
Love, Bob, Rachelle, Emily and Michelle
