Judith Azarow, nee Oschinsky, died on June 3 at Englewood Hospital after a brief illness. She and her late husband, Bernard B.” Chuck” Azarow were long-time residents of Fort Lee. Prior to that they resided in Cliffside Park, Brevard County, Florida and New York City.
Judith was born in Germany and relocated by her family to Israel during World War II. She served in the Israeli Army as a young woman. She and Chuck were married for 52-years before his passing in 2021. Chuck was a veteran of the Marine Corps in World War II and the two of them had a commitment to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. that provides education support for children whose parent died in the line of duty.
Among Judith’s many interests were the Metropolitan Opera and art, especially the works of visual artist Igor Galanin. She and Chuck enjoyed fine-dining at restaurants in New York City and Northern New Jersey.
Judith will be remembered for her quick wit, her extensive knowledge of the world and her radiant blue eyes. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services are private and Judith will be interred alongside Chuck at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
