Naomi Cohen Buller

Naomi Cohen Buller passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 90 on July 24, 2023. Naomi was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Sara and Michael Haymes on April 8, 1933. She graduated from high school in 1951 and went on to earn her Associates Degree from Brooklyn College. Naomi married the love of her life, Charlie Cohen, in 1955. They were happily married until his death in 1990. She found love again with Arnie Buller, to whom she was married from 2001 until his death in 2004. A career woman before it was common, Naomi was employed by Bergdorf Goodman for 27 years. Of her many and diverse interests, she was known for her love of travel, canasta, film, casino gambling, and the New York Mets and Giants. Naomi is survived by her son Gary (Elisa), her daughter Julia (Jan), her grandchildren Jaqi (Ben), Charlie, Cameron and Adam, and her great grandson Levi. Her graveside funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, New York. The family has requested that those wishing to make a charitable donation in Naomi’s memory do so by donating to the Alzheimer’s Association.
