  1. Rest in Peace Sam! The Watson family sends our prayers and love to the Shapiro Family at this time! Lots of good memories of Sam taking care of us back in the day!! Think of you and Joe often as each day we begin with seeing the home on Park & Paulin! Peace to you all as you remember and celebrate a good life!! Mark & The Watson Family!!

  2. Dear Jon and Cathy and Family, I am saddened to hear of Dr. Sam’s passing. My mom Joy(Gallone) and I enjoyed so many wonderful years being part of the Broad Ave. office family. I particularly remain blessed to have been able to care for your 3 beautiful boys and be part of your family life for so long during my high school and early college years. I pray your whole family will be comforted by all the memories you will keep of such fine parents and family bonds. Shalom, Gail Gallone Myers

  3. So sad to hear of Dr. Sam’s passing! He was the VERY best doctor, a man with a great core, honesty and integrity! They threw out the mold when this world was blessed with him. My heart goes out to all of you! RIP

  4. Andy and I are so saddened to learn of Sam’s passing. Although we did not know each other at the time, Andy and I first met Sam in 1964. A dear sweet man, a caring and thoughtful man, and then a great medical Dr. So many memories of a wonderful relationship with the Shapiro family. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the entire family. Cindy and Andy Kestenbaum

  5. Dr. Shapiro was a kind and caring man and physician. He treated me and my entire family for most of my life with humor, kindness and guidance you could not ignore. We would all be blessed to be equally loved and remembered.

  6. Sam was the best, most caring doctor I have ever known. Haven’t met any like him since I left Leonia in 1992. My condolences to his family. He lived a good, long life.
