Solomon Grazian of Fort Lee, age 88, passed away from cancer on January 16th, 2025. Beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, by Isaac and Becky Grazian (Nachmias). Attended DeWitt Clinton High School, served in the US Army and stationed in Korea, and worked at the New York Times for 32 years as a manager in the Information Systems department. Predeceased by his older brothers Hyman and Nathan. Survived by his devoted wife Kathy (Blank) for 54 years, son David (Meredith Broussard), grandson Nate, and many nieces and nephews. Sol enjoyed watching Yankees baseball, football, tennis, and classic movies, especially about World War II. He also liked listening to Frank Sinatra, taking trips to Atlantic City, and going on vacations to various destinations with his family. The family has belonged to the JCC of Fort Lee, Congregation Gesher Shalom, for 50 years. Instead of flowers, please contribute to the synagogue, or plant trees in Israel through the Jewish National Fund. A chapel service will be held at Eden Memorial Chapels located at 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ, on Monday, January 20th, at 10am. The interment will follow the service at Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
