Sylvia Waskover

Sylvia Waskover (Ackerman), late of Fort Lee, and Demarest, New Jersey passed away on January 11, 2025. Born in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, she grew up in Ferndale, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Sam and her grandson Adam Goldenberg. She is survived by her children: Jan Goldenberg and her husband David and Donald Waskover and his wife Arlene Miller along with her grandchildren Noah Goldenberg (and wife Candice) and Dana Lindauer (and husband Joshua) and by her great grandchildren Chase Brewer, Shane Brewer, Logan Shore, Lilliana Shore, Aaron Lindauer, Anna Goldenberg, Kaia Miller and Levi Lindauer. She is also survived by her step grandchildren Jamie and Greg Brewer and Brian and Sofia Miller and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She lived a long, healthy, good life and remained independent until the end. Most important to her were all the visits and phone calls of all those she loved. Family was the light of her life.
