Arthur Strier

Arthur I. Strier, age 81, of Fort Lee, New Jersey

Art, who lived each day to its fullest, passed away on April 30, 2024.

Art was out of town with a dear friend in South Carolina, vacationing in the Southern sunshine, when he passed from natural causes . He was born on October 25th, 1942, in Bronx, New York, to Emily and Murray Strier. He graduated from Queens College and received a JD from Brooklyn Law School. He married Joan Guth on June 12, 1966, and together they raised two sons.
Art loved to travel, shoot skeet and trap and spend time with friends and family. After law school, Art started his own practice in Manhattan and pioneered the field of civil servant law. He worked tirelessly on behalf of NYC civil servants and private citizens alike. Later, Art established Relamatrix, a healthcare and pharmaceutical consulting/marketing firm that he operated for 25 years. A labor of love, Art never stopped working.

Art is survived by his ex-wife Joan, sons Todd and Keith, their wives Wendi and Autumn, grandchildren Jacob, Owen, Griffin, Charlotte and Camille, and his younger brother Robert, a retired physician who lives in Los Angeles.

Art’s generous and gentle spirit, and a kind smile will be greatly missed. Those whose lives were touched by Art are invited to a memorial service at Eden Memorial Chapel in Fort Lee, New Jersey on
Friday, May 10th, 12:30 pm, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ. Shiva to follow services at the home of Wendi and Todd Strier until 8 pm at 23 Seely Place, Scarsdale, New York.
