Eric Olney

Eric Olney, age 46, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Beloved son of Larry Olney and the late Barbara Chesis Olney, he is survived by his daughter, Colette, his wife, Emily, and his brother, Matt. Eric graduated from Harvard and received a law degree from Columbia, both with honors. He loved baseball, music (especially old school hip hop), skiing, sushi, Larry Bird, and irony. He was extremely smart, funny, loyal, and creative, turning everyday events into nicknames, sayings, and larger-than-life memories. He loved spending time with his daughter, writing stories, painting, making music, learning about science, and baking pumpkin pies.
