In Loving Memory of Florence E. Schiessler (Cutler)
Florence E. Schiessler, 91, of Fort Lee, passed away on July 13th, 2019. Florence was born in Teaneck, NJ to Joseph and Celia Cutler. She was married to the Late Dr. Robert W. Schiessler and they resided together in Fort Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Francis of San Antonio, TX and predeceased by her daughter, Dale Schiessler. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Priscilla Bettis of Mansfield, TX, Allison Sunderland of Cedar Hill, TX, Gregory Scaffidi of Chelmsford, MA, and Elisabeth Scaffidi of NJ, and seven great grandchildren Owen, Mariska, Evan, and Rory Sunderland and Ellie, Oliver, and Evan Scaffidi. She grew up working in her parents leather goods store in Hackensack, where Florence fell in love with fashion. She later received a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and went on to work as an administrative assistant at Vanity Fair in New York.
Her service will be held graveside on July 14 at 11a at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Glendale, NY. Donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
