Jerome Lazarus

Lazarus, Jerome “Jerry” age 102, of Cresskill, formerly of Jersey City, on August 23, 2016. He was born in Jersey City and served his country in the Army during WWII and was the Deputy Mayor of Jersey City on 2 occasions. Commissioner of Hudson County Sewerage Authority, and Board of Elections, Rockaway Valley Sewerage Authority and Jersey City Finance Director. He also worked for Used Equipment Directory/Penton Media for many years. Avid traveler and Mets fan. Survived brother of Maxwell Lazarus. Devoted uncle of Josh Lazarus and his wife Nancy, Michael Lazarus and his wife Lori, Abel Lazarus and his wife Nadine. Cherished grand uncle of Erica and Jared.
