John Frankle

John Frankle, age 80, long time resident of Tenafly, NJ and Lake Hopatcong, on April 22, 2018. Beloved husband of Rena, devoted father of Andrew (Joan), Susan (John) and Jill, loving grandfather of George and Matthew and brother of Rabbi Judith Bardack. John was born in Budapest, Hungary, came to the US with his parents at the age of two, and was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. He had an accomplished career as an electrical engineer with contributions to the field of communications, including work on the Apollo 11 Lunar Module.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 25 at 11:30 am at Eden Memorial Chapel in Fort Lee, NJ. Interment immediately thereafter at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, NY.
