Pearl H. Levy, age 94, formerly of Leonia, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home in Loveland, Colorado on March 29, 2019.
She was a cherished mother to Lisa Marks Smith and her husband Gary P. Smith II of Berthoud, Colorado and a dear step-mother to Joan Burke and Ethel Prohaska. She is survived by her brother, Ira Seldin of Chatham, Mass. and preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Seldin of Teaneck, NJ and her parents, Joseph and Bertha Seldin. She was married to Irving Marks and later married Joseph Levy.
She was a loving Aunt to Abbe, David, and Judi and Arthur, Gene, David, and Irene and Dede, Rona, Iris and Joyce. She was a loving Granny to Scott, Tom, Juli, Jennifer, and Jeffrey and to Gary, Phillip, and Jennifer, and Great Granny to Samantha and Sarah and Jacob, Jackson, Carson, Raylan, and Julie Anna. She was also a great Aunt to many and loved and considered family by many people in her life.
Pearl worked in New York’s fashion district, for PNC Bank, and at All Saints Child Care Center in Leonia, NJ. She lived in Leonia for over 40 years and relocated to Georgia and then to Colorado to be closer to family. She often remarked about the beautiful sky in Colorado.
