Robert Tobey

Son of William and Bertha (Annapolen) Tobey, husband of Gail (Schwartz) Tobey, father of Jennifer Tobey (David Stern), grandfather of Noah and Rachel Stern, and “Unc” to many beloved family members. Brother of the late Suzanne (Tobey) Sussman. Preceded in death by cats Fred and Ollie, survived by Rooney.

Bob was one of a kind. He found joy in every day, and his attitude was contagious. He loved to share his enthusiasm for his passions, his many anecdotes, and his experiences with the people in his life. An unwavering Giants fan, master storyteller, animal lover, volunteer, jokester, hothead, avid reader, proud owner of an amazing long-term memory, history buff, beer connoisseur, golf and horseracing expert wannabe, faithful friend, and truly devoted member of a family that he adored with all his heart. He will be remembered dearly and always loved for all of this and more.
