Liberty Benevolent Association

Liberty Benevolent was an auxiliary Liberty Lodge No.4 Knights of Pythias of New Jersey. Our records reflect that it was active and still collecting dues as recently as 1998. Some time afterwards it is apparent that the club became inactive. Barr Wien handle the cemetery affairs for decades. When Barry moved to Eden Memorial Chapels he enlisted the help of the Patti’s, to insure that permits would be available for generations to come. Today, thanks to Barry’s efforts and the Patti’s dedication through the Jewish Charitable Burial Society, permits are issued 24/7 365 days a year.

Members of the Liberty Lodge have society graves in Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. The graves are in Block 12 C and consist of both family plots and individual graves.

Permits are issued through the Jewish Charitable Burial Society and are maintained in the offices of Eden Memorial Chapels. To check locations or grave reservations call us at (201) 947-3336

We contacted Eden Memorial Chapels at 1am and within an hour staff from Eden Memorial met with us to help our family.
